Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – City Tour
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by an Afric Mzizi Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided tour of Kigali City, including:

- Cultural attractions
Dinner and overnight stay in Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, depart Kigali and drive to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda.
The scenic drive takes approximately 2.5 hours through Rwanda's beautiful countryside.
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying optional cultural experiences.

Dinner and overnight near Volcanoes National Park.
Day 3: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Rwanda Development Board rangers.
You will then begin your Gorilla Trekking adventure through the rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
The trek can take between 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas.
Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural environment.

After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking & Twin Lakes Excursion
After breakfast, return to Volcanoes National Park for Golden Monkey Tracking.
Golden Monkeys are known for their playful behavior and are often easier to locate than gorillas, providing excellent opportunities for photography.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Return to Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kigali.
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing before your transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
