The Maasai Mara remains the top choice for high-density wildlife photography — big cats and, in season, the Great Migration — while Amboseli adds elephants against Mount Kilimanjaro, Lake Nakuru offers rhinos and flamingos, Samburu brings unique northern species, and Tsavo delivers its famous red-dusted elephants against vast open landscapes. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are prioritized throughout for the best natural light, with extended time built into every sighting rather than a quick drive-by.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Depart Nairobi for the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive timed for golden-hour light. Overnight in the Maasai Mara.

Day 2–3: Full-Day Photography Game Drives

Extended morning and afternoon game drives with dedicated time at sightings for positioning and lighting, focused on the Big Five, predator action, and — in season — the Great Migration. Overnight in the Maasai Mara each night.

Day 4: Final Sunrise Session & Departure (or Extension)
