Rather than long, exhausting drive days, we've paced this trip to balance excitement with rest — shorter transfers, family-suite lodges, and guides trained to turn game drives into an adventure kids will actually remember, from "junior ranger" tracking games to first sightings of lion, elephant, and giraffe. You'll spend two days in the Masai Mara before heading to Amboseli, where elephant herds roam beneath Kilimanjaro's peak. It's real Big Five wildlife, delivered at a pace that works for parents, grandparents, and children alike.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara  Depart Nairobi by road, arriving in the Mara for lunch. Afternoon game drive with a focus on easy, high-visibility sightings. Overnight family suite/tented camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara  Full day in the reserve with two game drives, including a "junior ranger" tracking activity for children. Overnight in the Mara.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Amboseli  Morning game drive, then transfer toward Amboseli (via Nairobi or direct road/flight connection). Overnight at Amboseli.

Day 4: Amboseli  Full day of game drives among elephant herds with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Optional visit to Nairobi's elephant orphanage on transfer days. Overnight at Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli – Nairobi  Final morning game drive, breakfast, then return transfer to Nairobi.
