This 3-day escape takes you by road from Nairobi, over the rim of the Great Rift Valley, and straight into the heart of the Masai Mara — home to lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and (in season) the thundering herds of the Great Migration. You'll spend two full days in the reserve on game drives timed for the golden early-morning and late-afternoon light, when wildlife is most active. Evenings are spent around the campfire swapping stories with fellow travelers, under some of the clearest starlit skies in East Africa. DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara  Early morning departure from Nairobi by road (approx. 5–6 hours), descending into the Great Rift Valley with a photo stop at the viewpoint. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive en route to camp. Overnight at a budget campsite/tented camp on a shared/twin basis.

Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara Game Drives  Early breakfast, then a full day exploring the reserve with game drives at dawn and dusk, searching for the Big Five and, in migration season (July–September), the wildebeest crossings. Picnic lunch in the reserve. Evening campfire dinner. Overnight at camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi  Sunrise game drive for a final chance at sightings, breakfast at camp, then depart by road back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon/early evening.
