Most safaris treat culture as an afterthought — a 30-minute photo stop bolted onto a wildlife itinerary. We built this one differently. Alongside two full days of classic Masai Mara game drives, you'll spend meaningful time with a Maasai family we've partnered with directly, learning beadwork techniques, hearing about warrior traditions and rites of passage, and sharing a traditional meal inside a real homestead — not a staged performance. It's the safari experience our own name is built on: Afric Mzizi means "Africa's roots," and this itinerary is our clearest expression of that promise, connecting travelers to both the wildlife and the people who call this land home.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara  Road transfer to the Masai Mara, arriving for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Overnight tented camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Cultural Immersion Day  Morning game drive, then an afternoon Maasai village visit with beadwork workshop, homestead tour, and traditional lunch with a local family. Overnight tented camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara  Full day of game drives, including an optional night drive where locally permitted. Overnight tented camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Nairobi  Sunrise game drive, breakfast, then return road transfer to Nairobi.
